Wholesale/B2B services

Selling your products B2B can be rewarding and challenging. While the increased visibility and potential audience for your brand is a plus, navigating and adhering to the rules set forth by retailers can be overwhelming. That’s where Brandfox can help! We provide the guidance and assistance you need to launch and sustain successful wholesale distribution for your brand.

B2B orders fall into one of three categories:

  • Retail
  • Wholesale EDI
  • Amazon FBA

Retail

Retail orders are B2B orders shipping to small-to-medium sized retailers. These orders do not require any special labeling, packaging, routing, palletization, freight shipping, or other preparations. These orders do not require any additional work requests and the order will be picked and shipped via a shipstation as a regular outbound order. If orders should be picked at the case instead of the unit level, specific order naming conventions must be followed.

Wholesale EDI

Wholesale EDI orders are B2B orders shipping to large retailers (i.e. Target, Ulta, Sephora, Walmart ). These orders have stringent requirements for labeling, packaging, and preparation. These orders may also require routing, special shipping labels, palletization, and freight shipping. Wholesale EDI orders require a work request and are handled by our trained Wholesale EDI team from beginning to end.

Amazon FBA

Amazon FBA orders are shipments sent to Amazon for fulfillment. These orders must be packaged and labeled according to Amazon’s guidelines, and Amazon-supplied labels must be applied to all cartons and pallets. Partners must create shipping plans for these orders in their own Amazon Seller Central account. Amazon FBA orders require a work request and are handled by our trained Wholesale EDI team from beginning to end.

Services We Offer

We help partners ensure their products meet the packaging and routing requirements for specific retailers. For Wholesale EDI and Amazon FBA orders, our team can provide a variety of services, including:

  • Polybagging/labeling
  • Master carton packing
  • BOL generation/freight scheduling
  • EDI routing
  • ASN generation

*Note: Polybagging and labeling individual units for Wholesale EDI or Amazon FBA orders can be completed by our Wholesale EDI team. However, if units need to be kitted in any way (multiple units bagged together and labeled/received in as a new SKU) a kitting request must be submitted to our Value-Added Services team for completion prior to initiating a Wholesale EDI or Amazon FBA request. We recommend using monthly forecasting to ensure our team has enough on-hand kitted inventory for any SKUs regularly sent via Wholesale EDI or Amazon FBA. Please allow additional processing time for orders that require special preparation.

Initiating Shipments

Retail

These orders do not require any additional work requests and the order will be picked and shipped via a shipstation as a regular outbound order. Orders can be imported via normal sales channels or submitted as manual orders.

If the order should be picked by case/carton:

  • If submitting a manual order, the order number MUST begin with the prefix “RTL-”.
  • If orders are imported from Shopify or other selling channels, automation rules must be set to ensure the orders go into the correct workflow. You must notify Brandfox to set this up.
  • Failure to correctly name the order or notify Brandfox of a new retail selling channel can result in order delays or an order being picked and billed at the unit level.

Wholesale EDI

1. Create an order in Brandfox’s Warehouse Management System (WMS)
    • Manual Orders
      • If creating a manual order, the order number MUST begin with the prefix “EDI-”.
      • Failure to correctly name the order can result in order delays or an order being shipped without the required EDI routing and preparation.
Imported Orders
  • If orders are automatically imported into the WMS via a third-party platform like SPS or CartRover, there is no need to create a manual order.

2. Submit a work request for our team to prepare the shipment.
  • If the order is shipping LTL and you are scheduling your own freight, our team will contact you with pallet dims/weights.
  • LTL pickups must be scheduled in advance via our online scheduling portal.

Amazon FBA

  1. Create a shipping plan with Amazon and download shipping labels.
    • Labels must be formatted as 4”x6” thermal labels.

  2. Create a manual order in Brandfox’s Warehouse Management System (WMS).
    • The order number MUST begin with the prefix “FBA-” followed by the Amazon Reference ID.

  3. Submit a work request for our team to prepare the shipment.
    • If the order is shipping LTL, our team will contact you with pallet dims/weights so you can generate pallet labels and a BOL with Amazon.
    • LTL pickups must be scheduled in advance via our online scheduling portal.
